Outdoor hot tub cover

A truly unique project - a custom hot tub cover created for a customer who ingeniously converted an old cattle water trough into a fire-heated hot tub.  In keeping with the sustainable spirit of the build, the cover was crafted from repurposed sailcloth, salvaged from retired sails that would otherwise have ended up in landfill.

The result is a one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly cover with plenty of character - the sails original stitching and panel seams adding a sense of history and authenticity.

Cut and shaped to fit neatly over the tub, the cover features a secure buckle fastening arrangement to hold it firmly in place, while allowing for easy removal when it’s time to stoke the fire and enjoy a soak.  The customer was thrilled with the result - a practical, sustainable solution that ties perfectly into the rustic charm and inventive spirit of their project.
