VW T6 Covers

A fun and distinctive project - a pair of custom Volkswagen T6 covers created from a retired Shrimper sail, giving new life to material that would otherwise have been discarded in landfill.  The aim was to make something practical, characterful, and full of coastal charm.

The first piece was a side sunshade, offering shelter and shade when parked up on summer trips.  At the customer’s request, the tell-tails and iconic Shrimper logo were carefully retained and positioned proudly at the top, celebrating the sail’s heritage and adding a unique nautical touch.

The second cover was designed to fit over the top of the barn-style rear doors, connecting neatly at the top of the wheel arch for a tidy, secure fit.

The customer has since enjoyed using both pieces on their adventures - a perfect blend of sustainability, craftsmanship, and personality, giving this T6 a story every bit as interesting as the journeys it takes.
